Best-known for creating the NBC's drama series The Brave (2017-2018), Dean Georgaris is a film writer and producer, working in Hollywood. He began his career with the blockbuster film Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life (2003), starring Angelina Jolie and Gerard Butler. He then went on work on films like Paycheck (2003) and The Manchurian Candidate (2004).

Georgaris has also produced the critically acclaimed film adaptation of Life of Pi (2014). The film earned over hundred nominations and about 80 wins, including a Golden Globe and four Oscars. His other projects include The Meg (2018).
