Coming into the limelight with her breakout role as Kathy Selden in Singin' in the Rain (1952), Mary Frances "Debbie" Reynolds was an American film & voice actress, singer, dancer, businesswoman and humanitarian. After making an uncredited appearance in the 1948 movie, June Bride, Reynolds made her big screen debut in 1950 with The Daughter of Rosie O'Grady. Over the years she has acted in movies like Three Little Words (1950), Two Weeks with Love (1950), Singin' in the Rain (1952), The Catered Affair (1956), Tammy (1957), The Mating Game (1959), The Gazebo (1959), How the West Was Won (1962), The Unsinkable Molly Brown (1964), Charlotte's Web (1973), Heaven & Earth (1993), Mother (1996), In & Out (1997) and One for the Money (2012). Reynolds has also starred in hit TV shows like The Debbie Reynolds Show (1969-1970), Rugrats (1990-2006), Will & Grace (1998- ) and Kim Possible (2002-2007). She has been nominated multiple times for a Golden Globe and once for an Oscar. Reynolds was married thrice and had two kids from her first husband, Eddie Fisher- Carrie Fisher Todd Fisher. Debbie Reynolds passed away on December 28, 2016, of an intracerebral hemorrhage caused by stroke. It happened two days after her actress-daughter, Carrie Fisher died of a cardiac arrest.
