Actor and filmmaker Deekkshit Venkatesh is best known for his work in Kannada television and cinema. He has served as an associate or co-director in a number of Sandalwood and Tollywood flicks, notable among which are the movies Lancha Samrajya (2007), Homam (2008) and Siddham (2009).

In 2016, Deekkshit made his directorial debut with the film Kollegala, which he also starred in. Three years later, the actor-turned-filmmaker essayed the lead role in the Kannada movie Majjige Huli (2019).
