Deepak Mukut is a prolific Indian film producer and distributor, with over 29 years of experience in media and entertainment industry. As the Managing Partner of Soham Rockstar Entertainment and Director at Jhoom Jhoom Media Pvt. throughout the years in his career, has acquired negative rights of over 600 films. He is also a member of renowned film association IMPPA and GUILD.

His father Mr. Kamal Mukut has been instrumental in creating a landmark in the arena of entertainment which includes establishing first Indian Satellite television channel in the early 90`s known as ZEE TV, distributed more than 100 films in Rajasthan under the banner name Jaipur films. He owns one of the most successfully running multiplex of Jaipur, namely Space which is amongst the biggest solution provider in the entertainment space. He has also produced and financed couple of movies, associated with Zee Network for procurement of film-based software for Zee group since it`s inception stages, as a mark of appreciation for his focused and committed efforts and significant role he played in establishing the Zee TV Network, he was presented with the "PILLAR OF ZEE" award.

Mr. Deepak pioneered the concept of Promotion of films on Satellite TV via the medium of Trailers and Songs, earning more than INR 350 million for Zee Network. With a strong inclination towards meaningful and entertaining content, he acquires and distributes Indian language films in multiple formats worldwide, including theatrical, television, syndication and digital platforms.

Deepak has learnt the nuances of the industry by working as an assistant director, with some of the most distinguished and versatile directors and actors, which include but not limited to, stalwarts like J P Dutta, Dilip Kumar & Hema Malini.

Mr. Deepak has an eagle`s eye to spot and back new talent with conviction. He has a vision to entertain the masses and satisfy the critics at the same time. Mr.Mukut had relaunched yesteryear`s Bollywood actress Bhagyashree in TV serial `Yadon Ke Rang`. He has recorded around 20 albums for Zee music and introduced talents like Ismail Darbar, Raju Singh, Hansal Mehta, Daboo Malik, Arvinder Singh, Shaan and many more. His perspective extends to producing content across all platforms not only in India, but also worldwide.

With vast experience of doing satellite business of movies on the biggest scale, he has dealt with all leading channels like Star, Sony, Colors, Sahara, B4U, Zee, UTV. With over 15 Television serials for Zee under his belt, Mr. Deepak has produced many Television Serials and Film based programs for various other Channels and Broadcasters including B4U, Doordarshan etc. including massively popular hits like Bahuraniyan, Yahi toh Pyaar Hai, Apne Paraye- Staring Rajesh Khanna, Pakeezah, Yaado Ke Rang and many more hits. A man of many talents with dedication, Mr. Deepak is a multi-faceted personality with profound knowledge in the fields of Jewelry, films software development and export, owing to his trait of being ever inquisitive about all creative fields.

Deepak has produced few critically acclaimed movies in very recent past like: MULK (2018), Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana (2017), Sanam Teri Kasam (2016), Genius (2018), Jhoota Kahin Ka (2019), and TAISH (2020), Forensic (2022), Kanjoos makhichoos (2023), BalNaren (2023) and Upcoming Bhootnii in (April 18 2025) horror-comedy. has already announced Apne 2 for the first time with 3 generations of Deols like Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Karan Deol, directed by Anil Sharma. He has also signed Emraan Hashmi for the movie Sab First Class.
