Known for his negative roles, Deepak Shirke is a recognised movie actor, who is mainly a part of Hindi cinema. Having started his acting career in 1987 with the Marathi movie Irsaal Karti, Deepak has been a part of over 100 movies in his three-decade-long career. His first Hindi movie was the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Agneepath, following which he featured in a number of superhit movies such as Hum, Tirangaa, Khuda Gawah, Jeet, Judwaa, Ishq, and Gunda among many others. While he is predominantly associated with Bollywood, he has seldom appeared in Marathi movies, featuring in Vazir, Sonyachi Mumbai, Shegavicha Rana Gajanan, Chashme Bahaddar, Zapatlela 2, and Thank U Vitthala. His 2019 releases include Aasud and Bola Alakh Niranjan.
