Jackson DeForest Kelley, known to colleagues as Dee, was an American actor, screenwriter, poet, and singer known for his roles in Westerns and as Dr. Leonard Bones McCoy of the USS Enterprise in the television and film series Star Trek (1966-1991). He featured in Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979), Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982), Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984), Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986), Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989) and Star Trek: the Undiscovered Country (1991). Kelley also appeared in episodes of The Donna Reed Show, Perry Mason, Tales of Wells Fargo, Wanted: Dead or Alive, Boots and Saddles, Dick Powell`s Zane Grey Theater, Death Valley Days, Riverboat, The Fugitive, Lawman, Bat Masterson, Gunsmoke, Have Gun - Will Travel, The Millionaire, and Laredo.
