Bangalore-based film and television actor Dhananjay Atrey is primarily known for his performances in Kannada tv shows like Parineeta and Chitralekha. A mechanical engineer by qualification and an actor by passion, he started out in modelling and subsequently made his feature film debut with a minor role in Budhivantha (2007).

The romantic action film Bombaat (2008), the action film Yodha (2009) and the biopic Attahasa (2013) are some of Dhananjay`s other notable acting credits. In 2018, he debuted as a leading man in Kannada cinema with the movie Karshanam, which was directed by Sharavana.
