Getting a degree in filmmaking from Zee Institute of Media Arts (ZIMA) from Mumbai, Dhaval Parmar is an Indian cinematographer and photographer. He began by serving as the assistant cameraman to cinematographer Kamaljeet Negi on the hit Hindi spy-thriller, Madras Cafe (2013). Dhaval has also worked on ad films and documentaries. In 2018 Dhaval made his debut as a cinematographer with the Gujarati movie, "Joothanu?". The mystery-thriller is directed by debutant filmmaker Chandradhar Rao Putta and has Zalakkumar Patel, Aishwarya Naik, Nihal Patel, Simran Arora, Henish Jariwala, and Toral Sharma, in important roles.
