An Indian writer and director, Dheeraj Rattan started his career in the industry by being an assistant director for the 2004 movie Police Force: An Inside Story, and then went on to work on the screenplay of several movies like Haal-e-Dil, 1920, Shaapit, Mel Karade Rabba and Phhir. He followed this up by working as the writer for various movies like Jatt & Juliet, Rangeelay, Singh vs Kaur, Jatt & Juliet 2, Sardaar Ji, Sardaar Ji 2, Ambarsariya, and Kaptaan, to name his prominent work. His 2017 venture as a screenplay writer includes the action-comedy movie Super Singh starring Diljit Dosanjh, Sonam Bajwa, and Pavan Malhotra in the lead roles, under the direction of Anurag Singh. His releases include Ashke (2018) Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se (2018), Laiye Je Yaarian (2019) and Sikander 2 (2019). His 2020 release includes Bhangra Paa Le.
