Dick Clement, born on September 5, 1937, in Westcliff-on-Sea, is a screenwriter and producer. Along with Ian La Frenais, he has written many television series, including Porridge, Lovejoy and Auf Wiedersehen, Pet. Clement, has also directed and produced several films in the Hollywood industry.
