Digvijay Savant or Diggie as he is popularly known by his peers, has been part of the Bombay theatre scene since 2000, as an actor, director and producer. As an actor he has performed pivotal & diverse characters in plays like The Boy Who Stopped Smiling directed by Ramu Ramanathan, Bansuri, directed by Sunil Shanbag, Combat, directed by Jaimini Pathak, Two To Tango directed by Vikranth Pawar, Clogged Arteries directed by Pushan Kriplani, Your Place Or Mine, directed by Darshan Jariwalla, Shape Of Things directed by Siddharth Kumar, Aada Chautaal directed by Satyadev Dubeji, Verdict directed by Divya Palat, Cast Party directed by Pooja Asher, Grey Elephants In Denmark directed by Chaitanya Tamanhe, Punch-A-Tantra directed by Karla Singh, Super 8 directed by Akarsh Khurana, Pereira Bakery directed by Zafar Karachiwala. He has directed and produced plays like Me Grandad `Ad An Elephant, Table For Two, Time To Tell A Tale, Off Season, performed at venues like Prithvi, NCPA, NGMA, amongst others. Diggie has also directed school productions for Cathedral, Bombay Scottish, JBCN PAN. His favorite theatre memory is watching a play he directed being performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival by 30 kids with learning disabilities in 2010.
