Screenwriter and filmmaker Dileesh Nair works primarily in Malayalam cinema, and is perhaps best known for penning the romantic comedy Salt N' Pepper (2011) and the romantic drama Idukki Gold (2013), both of which he co-wrote with fellow writer and friend Syam Pushkaran. Besides these, he has also directed the 2014 satirical comedy Tamaar Padaar, which featured Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role. Other significant writing credits include Da Thadiya (2012) and Mayaanadhi (2017).
