Dilip Bachchan Jha is an acclaimed writer and producer best known for writing the blockbuster M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. After having started his career with TV, wherein he wrote acclaimed series like Bade Acche Lagte Hain, Kuch Toh Log Kahenge and Radha Krishna amongst many others, he moved to producing in 2016. With a vision to craft powerful narratives across television, films, and OTT platforms he produced successful series like Ek Duje Ke Vaaste, Yeh Pyaar Nahin Toh Kya Hai and more recently Pehla Pyaar Less than 1% Chance that became audience favorite for its heartfelt storytelling.

Dilip now returns to the big screen as the writer of Ajey: The Untold Story of a Monk (September 2025), inspired by Shantanu Guptas bestselling book The Monk Who Became Chief Minister. Starring Anant Joshi as Yogi Adityanath and Paresh Rawal in a pivotal role, the film offers a compelling cinematic retelling of the extraordinary rise of one of Indias most prominent political figures. While rooted in true events, the narrative focuses on the inspirational journey of a boy from a humble lower-middle-class family who chooses a path of sacrifice and service.
