An actor and a singer, Diljott is an Indian who is known for her work in the Punjabi entertainment industry. Diljott is a trained Kathak, Western and a Folk dancer. Academically she did her Bachelors of Arts with Majors in Psychology and Journalism and was a University topper and a Gold Medalist. Diljott also did her Masters in Human Rights and was a gold medalist there as well. Before getting into movies, Diljott featured in various advertisements for brands like Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Larsen and Toubro, Amartex Suitings and Paislei. She got her first big break in 2014 with a music video "Patiala Peg", where she featured opposite Punjabi heartthrob, Diljit Dosanjh. In 2016 Diljott made her film debut opposite Happy Raikoti in director Sukhbir Singh`s romantic-comedy, Teshan. She next starred in Yaar Annmulle 2 in 2017, a sequel to the 2011 hit movie, Yaar Annmulle.

In 2018 Diljott starred in director Rakesh Mehta`s drama, Nanak. The cast also includes Jassie Gill, Japji Khaira, Sardar Sohi, Anita Devgan, and Agamvir Singh. Her other 2018 releases include 5 Weddings, directed by Indian-American director Namrata Singh Gujral and Punjabi By Nature, directed by Gurbir Grewal.
