The founder of Maddock films, Dinesh Vijan is an Indian producer and director. Vijan gave up a career in banking 14 years ago to pursue films, and has not looked back since. Making his debut with psychological-thriller Being Cyrus starring Saif Ali Khan, he has since been associated with popular films of varying genres like Love Aaj Kal (2009), Cocktail (2012), the zombie comedy Go Goa Gone (2013), Finding Fanny (2014), Hindi Medium (2017), which won the filmfare award for Best Film and Stree. His 2019 releases include Luka Chuppi, Arjun Patiala and Bala His 2020 releases include Love Aaj Kal, directed by Imtiaz Ali and Angrezi Medium. He then produced Roohi (2021), Mimi (2021), Shiddat (2021), Hum Do Hamare Do (2021), Dasvi (2022), Bhediya (2022), Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga (2023), Zara Hatke Zara Bachke (2023), Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video (2023), Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (2024), Munjya (2024), Stree 2 (2024), Tehran (2024), Sector 36 (2024), and Chhava (2025).
