An Australian-South African cinematographer, Dion Beebe is best known for his work in Memoirs of a Geisha. Known for his constant collaboration with director Rob Marshall, Beebe is known for using highly saturated color palettes and experimenting with high-speed digital video in his works. The winner of multiple awards including an Academy Award and a BAFTA Award for Best Cinematography, Beebe is also a member of the esteemed Australian Cinematographers Society and the American Society of Cinematographers. Having made his debut with Crush in 1992, over the years in his illustrious career, Beebe has worked in more than 15 feature films. Some of his most film credits include Vacant Possession (1995), Praise (1998), The Goddess of 1967 (2000), Rendition (2007), Green Lantern (2011), Into the Woods (2014), The Snowman (2017), Mary Poppins Returns (2018) and
