Julien Christian Lutz, better known as Director X is a Canadian film and music video director who is associated with directing unique music videos for a lot of big leagues in the music industry including The Wanted, Usher, Kanye West, Jay-Z, David Guetta, Justin Bieber, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Fifth Harmony, One Direction, and Iggy Azalea. On the cinema front, he lent his genius to films like Rhythm City Volume One: Caught Up (2005), Across the Line (2015), Center Stage: On Pointe (2016) before he was associated with the remake of the 1972 film Superfly (2018).
