The daughter of Bollywood filmmaker Prakash Jha, Disha Jha started her career as an assistant director and apprentice for the 2004 release Apaharan. Later, in 2019, she turned a producer under the banner of Prakash Jha Production and co-produced Fraud Saiyyan starring Prakash Jha.
