Doddarange Gowda is an Indian lyricist, dialogue writer and actor who works in the Kannada film industry. In a career spanning over four decades, he has penned the lyrics for over 500 songs and associated in over 250 films. Some of Doddarange's best known works include Bangarada Jinke (1980), Sangharsha (1993) and Sparsha (1999). The veteran lyricist is also a three-time winner of the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Lyricist, earning the award for his work in films like Ganeshana Maduve (1990), Kavya (1995) and Janumada Jodi (1996). Other significant film credits include Premothsava (1999), Allama (2017) and Halli Sogadu (2017), the last of which he also appears in as an actor.
