Domhnall Gleeson is an Irish actor. The son of veteran actor Brendan Gleeson, he started out in theatre, debuted on television in the 2001 mini-series Rebel Heart and subsequently made his feature film debut in the horror comedy Boy Eats Girl (2005). Some of his notable earlier roles have come in the Harry Potter series (as Bill Weasley) and in the 2012 historical romance film Anna Karenina (as Konstantin Levin). Since then, Gleeson has appeared in leading and supporting roles in several films notably About Time (2013), Ex Machina (2015), Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015) and The Revenant (2015). Besides these, the actor has also served as a writer for several short films and sketch comedy shows. Other significant acting credits include Never Let Me Go (2010), True Grit (2010), Brooklyn (2015), Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017) and American Made (2017). His 2021 release includes
