Don Rhymer was an American screenwriter and producer. His most popular works are Big Momma's House (2000), The Honeymooners (2005) and Surf's Up (2007). He has also written TV shows such as The Hogan Family, Caroline in the City, Chicago Sons to name a few. He died in 2012 due to head and neck cancer. His final credit came in Rio 2 (2014) that he wrote along with Carlos Kotkin, Jenny Bicks, and Yoni Brenner. His last posthumous release was Ferdinand.
