Doris Day is an actor, singer and social activist, who started her career initially as a band singer. Later, she signed a contract with Columbia Records and went on to record more than 600 songs. She has appeared in, more than 40 films and TV series. Her major credits includes The Doris Day Show and Caprice. She also produced the TV series, The Doris Day Show.
