Dr. Ajai R. Singh MD is a Psychiatrist, Editor, Researcher and Poet, He has undergone formal training in North Indian Classical Music from his revered Guruji, Shri Vinayak Kunte. Being himself a poet, he understands the subtleties and nuances of the ghazal and the nazm. Moreover, he is fluent in English, Hindi, and Urdu.

Dr. Singh has given various concerts in places like Nehru Centre and Rangsharda in Mumbai, amongst others.

Sony DADC has released his music album in 2016, 'Khushnuma Raat hai'.

Ghalib and his poetry has been his abiding interest, since he visited the ''Ghalib Ki Haveli', while on a lecture tour to New Delhi in 2015. In Feb 2018, he started the YouTube Channel, 'Ghalib, Ghalib and only Ghalib' to reach out to a cosmopolitan audience.

Popularising Ghalib and making him a household name among Ghazal enthusiasts and connoisseurs is Dr. Singh's passion.
