In 1964, Dr Sreekumar Chatterjee tried out at Hindusthan Records, with Raichand Boral, and Maya Sen in Rabindra Sangeet. Obviously, a renowned sound recordist at Hindusthan Records, acknowledged Dr Chatterjee's singing, and communicated shock when he discovered that he was an understudy of prescription.
