Starting off as an apprentice editor to editor Geraldine Peroni, Dylan Tichenor is an American film editor. He made his debut as an editor with Paul Thomas Anderson's Boogie Nights in 1997. Since then Tichenor has worked on critically acclaimed and commercially successful movies like Magnolia (1999), Unbreakable (2000), The Royal Tenenbaums (2001), Brokeback Mountain (2005), The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007), There Will Be Blood (2007), Doubt (2008), Whip It (2009), The Town (2010), Lawless (2012), Zero Dark Thirty (2012), Child 44 (2015), Triple 9 (2016) and Stronger (2017). In 2017 Tichenor edited Paul Thomas Anderson's period drama, Phantom Thread. Tichenor has been nominated twice in the Best Film Editing category for There Will Be Blood (2007) and Zero Dark Thirty (2012).
