Edmund H. North was an American screen writer, possibly known for his prolific credits in numerous Hollywood projects. He had written scripts for nearly 33 movies and TV series. His major credits include ‘H.M.S. Defiant’, ‘12 O’clock High’ and ‘I Dream Too Much’. He had also made his appearance in a TV movie ‘Gideon's Trumpet’. He had also worked as a president of the screen branch of the Writers Guild of America, West. He died on August 28,1990at the age of 79.
