An acclaimed cinematographer from Spain, Eduard Grau has worked with several directors from around the world and has shot a plethora of short movies and commercials. Grau who started his professional career when he was just 23 years old, shot to fame with his work in the Spanish short film `La Ruta Natural`, which won an award at the Sundance Film Festival. Over the years he has developed his own unique style of works, which is synonymous with capturing the beautiful eyes and honest smile. Grau made his debut in a feature film with Honor De Cavalleria (2006), which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2006 and later was showcased at 40 other international film festivals. Post-2006, Grau worked mostly in short movies and documentaries for the next three years, before eventually returning to mainstream feature film with Kicks in 2009. In the same year, he collaborated with actor Colin Firth for A Single Man, which not only received wide critical acclaim for its cinematography but also won an Academy nomination as well as was listed in the Vince Magazine`s 30 most beautiful movies of all time. The Way Back (2020). Apart from working as a DOP, Grau has worked in the camera and electrical department for several movies and he has also directed two short films titled Bitter Kas (2004), Scarlet Sunrise (2007).
