Best known for her role as Nina in the American thriller film, You Were Never Really Here, Ekaterina Samsonov is a Russian-American model and actress. Having started her career as a model, she has worked with several luxurious and renowned international brands like H&M, DKNY, Macy's, J.C. Penney, and Hewlett-Packard. Following her stint as a model, Samsonov made her debut as an actress in a single episode of the TV series called Mozart in the Jungle (2014), which was showcased on Amazon Video

Following her debut on TV, Samsonov made her maiden appearance on the silver screen with Anesthesia (2015). Her other notable films include The Ticket (2016), Wonderstruck (2017) and You Were Never Really Here. The film directed by Lynne Ramsay and co-starring Joaquin Phoenix premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2017 and released worldwide in April 2018.
