Elena Ruiz is a film editor well-known for her work on The Impossible (2012), The Orphanage (2007) and Eva (2011). She was awarded with the Goya Award for Best Editing for The Impossible and also won the Gaudi Award for the same, both in 2013. She also won the Barcelona Film Awards for The Orphanage for Best Film Editing in 2007 and was the recipient of a plethora of nominations for her work.
