Born as Elsa Lafuente Medianu in Madrid, Spain, Elsa Pataky is an actress, producer and model who made her acting debut with the Spanish Television series, Al salir de clase (1997-2002). It was only in the year 2000 that Pataky made her movie debut with The Art of Dying (2000). Since then she has acted in movies and TV shows like Queen of Swords (2000-2001), Don`t Tempt Me (2001), Beyond Re-Animator (2003), Los Serrano (2003-2008), Tiovivo c. 1950 (2004), Snakes on a Plane (2006), Give `em Hell Malone (2009) and Mr. Nice (2010).

Pataky got a strong foothold in Hollywood when she appeared as Elena Neves in the fifth part of the Fast and the Furious franchise, Fast Five (2011). Post that she has appeared in movies like Where the Road Meets the Sun (2011), Snowflake, The White Gorilla (2011), The Wine of Summer (2013) and Ozzy (2016). Pataky has reprised her role as Elena in Fast and Furious 6 (2013), Furious 7 (2015) and The Fate of the Furious (2017). Elsa Pataky has been married to Hollywood actor Chris Hemsworth since 2010. In 2018 Pataky starred opposite her husband, Chris Hemsworth in Nicolai Fuglsig`s action movie, 12 Strong. The cast also includes Michael Shannon, Taylor Sheridan and William Fichtner in important roles.
