Emmylou Harris is an American singer and songwriter. she released her major label solo debut album named Pieces of the Sky in the year 1975. In 1985, Harris reinvented her sound by mixing several genres in her autobiographical album, The Ballad of Sally Rose. He won Grammy award for Best Americana Album. Some of her popular credits include Brokeback Mountain, Planes, Trains & Automobiles and The Last Waltz.
