Eric Bana is an Australian actor and comedian. He first came to public attention during his stint in the popular Australian sketch comedy series Full Frontal, and subsequently rose to prominence with his critically acclaimed portrayal of the titular role in the biographical crime drama film Chopper (2000). Since foraying into Hollywood, Bana has appeared in a number of critically and commercially successful films, and has associated with eminent directors like Steven Spielberg, Ridley Scott and Ang Lee. Significant among the actor`s repertoire as a leading man are Hulk (2003), Munich (2005), Romulus, My Father (2007) and The Time Traveler`s Wife (2009). Besides these, he has also appeared in key supporting roles in films like Black Hawk Down (2001), Troy (2004), Star Trek (2009), Hanna (2011), Lone Survivor (2014), The Finest Hours (2016) and King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017) . For his work in Chopper and Romulus, My Father, Bana won the Australian Film Institute`s Best Actor Award in 2000 and 2007 respectively.
