Erich von Stroheim was an Austrian-American director, actor and producer. He made his debut as actor in 1915 with The Country Boy. He appeared in movies like Napoleon, Mandragore and So Ends Our Night. He made his directorial debut in 1919 with Blind Husbands movie. He directed movies like Clipped Wings, The Honeymoon and 10 more. In 1954 Stroheim won Certificate of Merit from BAFTA awards.
