Ernest Kinoy was an American writer, screenwriter and playwright. He wrote the script for The Marriage, which was an adaptation of a previous Kinoy-scripted radio show of the same name. After working at NBC, he wrote the episodes for the popular television series The Defenders. He won the Primetime Emmy Awards and Writers Guild of America on two ocassions.
