Ernie Hudson is an American actor, producer and playwright best known for playing Winston Zeddemore in the Ghostbusters film series. He began his career with the 1976 biographical musical drama movie Leadbelly, based on the legendary folksinger Huddie Ledbetter. Some of his film credits include Penitentiary II (1982), The Wrong Guys (1988), Shark Attack (1999) and Hood of Horror (2006). He made his presence in TV series like Once Upon a Time, Grace and Frankie, The Incredible Hulk and The Dukes of Hazzard. In 2006 he was awarded Career Achievement Award at Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival and many nominations. His 2021 releases include Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Redemption Day.
