Belonging to a family filled with Bollywood biggies, Esha Deol is the elder daughter of yesteryear actors Hema Malini and Dharmendra. She obtained Masters degree in the course Media Arts and Computer Technology from Oxford University. Raised in a family full of actors, she too aspired to become one and landed her first role in the movie Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche(2002), which won her the Filmfare Award for Best Debut Female. Her performance in the Tamil film Aayutha Ezhuthu (2004), also remade in hindi as Yuva (2004), was her first breakthrough performance. Dhoom (2004) was her first multi-starrer commercially successful film. She went on to do several films, usually multi-starrer, like No Entry (2005), Shaadi No.1 (2005), Pyare Mohan (2006), Ankahee (2006),
