A Canadian screenwriter, film producer, and director, Evan Goldberg is noted for his frequent collaboration with fellow Canadian actor and filmmaker Seth Rogen. Goldberg and Rogen have worked in many films together including Superbad (2007), Pineapple Express (2008), and The Interview (2014). Goldberg started his career as a staff writer for Da Ali G Show in 2004 along with his partner and childhood friend Seth Rogen. The Winner of Canadian Comedy Award Best Writing - Film, made his debut as a writer with Superbad in 2007. His other notable films as a writer include Jay and Seth vs. The Apocalypse (2007), Goon (2011), The Watch (2012) and Sausage party (2016).

Apart from writing many films and TV series`, Goldberg has also produced many feature films including Knocked Up (2007), 50/50 (2011), The Guilt Trip (2012), Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016) and Blockers (2018), an American comedy directed by Kay Cannon.
