Fabian Wagner is a German cinematographer who is best known for his work in acclaimed television shows like Sherlock and Game of Thrones. An alumnus of the Northern Film School in Leeds, UK, he started out on television in the 2008 drama series Spooks: Code 9, and subsequently rose to prominence when he helmed the camera for the acclaimed drama series Mrs. Biggs and the second season of the BBC crime drama Sherlock. In 2015, Wagner made his feature film debut with the comedy thriller The Legend of Barney Thomson, and has since worked in films like Victor Frankenstein (2015) and Justice League (2017). For his work in Sherlock and Game of Thrones, Wagner was nominated twice for the Primetime Emmy Award for Best Cinematography in 2012 and 2015. Other notable television credits include Ashes to Ashes, Accused and Da Vinci's Demons.
