Ferdia Shaw is a young, Irish actor. Born in Dublin, Shaw has been acting in local theatre productions from an early age. He is also a member of the Young Irish Film Makers, where he learnt the technical aspects of film making and also made a few short films himself. An avid reader and a fan of science fiction and fantasy, Shaw was chosen from amongst 1,200 kids for the title role of Artemis Fowl (2020). The first live action film of the Disney franchise is Shaw`s Hollywood debut.
