Fionnghuala Manon, better known by her screen name Fionnula Flanagan is an actress and political activist from Ireland. The actress rose to fame in 1965 when she played the role of Maire in an Irish language play, An Triail, for which she won Jacob`s Award for outstanding performance. The actress who made her debut on the silver screen in 1967 with Ulysses has been part of several other movies like Youngblood (1986), Waking Ned (1998), A Secret Affair (1999), Four Brothers (2005), Life is a Breeze (2013) and Havenhurst.
