An American TV, film and Broadway actor, Fran Kranz is best remembered for playing the roles of Topher Brink in the sci-fi drama series Dollhouse and Bernard in Death of a Salesman, a Broadway play. Born and raised in LA, California, Kranz started acting from a very young age; he has been acting since he was in his third grade and he had decided right from school that he wanted to become an actor. Having graduated from the Harvard-Westlake School, Kranz later went to Yale University where he was a member of the improve comedy group named The Ex!t Players. He made his debut as an actor on the silver screen with Donnie Darko (2001) where he had a small role. His most notable films include The Village (2004), Rise: Blood Hunter (2007), Wieners (2008), Don`t Fade Away (2010), Lust for Love (2014), Last Weekend (2014), The Truth About Lies (2015) and The Dark Tower (2017), an American science fiction western action horror film directed by Nikolaj Arcel.
