Fred Ward is an American actor who made his debut with the comedy-drama movie Ginger in the Morning (1974). He is best known for his work in movies like Southern Comfort (1981), Uncommon Valor (1983), The Right Stuff (1984) and Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins (1985). Ward has also made guest appearances in popular TV series like Grey`s Anatomy, In Plain Sight and United Stares of Tara. His other film credits include Sweet Home Alabama (2002), 30 Minutes or Less (2011) and 2 Guns (2013).
