A renowned producer in the south Indian film industry, G.K. Reddy, the father of popular Tamil actor Vishal Krishna Reddy, is noted for his work in Tamil cinema. The producer-turned-actor made his debut on the silver screen with the Kannada remake of the Tamil film Pisassu, which was titled Raakshasi (2015), which is directed by debutant director Ashraf.
