An Indian actor and ad filmmaker Gajraj Rao, known for essaying supporting roles in Hindi movies, started his acting career in the early 90s with the biographical crime drama Bandit Queen in 1994. Following his feature film debut, he went on to be associated with several movies like Dil Se (1998), Dil Hai Tumhaara (2002), Black Friday (2004), No Smoking (2007), and Aamir (2008). However, it was his portrayal of Inspector Dhaniram in the murder mystery Talvar that won him widespread recognition, earning him several award nominations under the category of Best Actor in a Negative Role.

The actor is also a part of the ad filmmaking firm called Code Red Films, which he is associated with as a director and writer. He has also essayed the role of Murli Prasad Sharma in Y-Films` web series Bang Baaja Baaraat (2015) and Bhatia in TVF`s web series F.A.T.H.E.R.S. (2017). His other releases include Blackmail, Love Per Square Foot, Badhaai Ho, Lootcase, Made In China. Gajraj Rao`s 2020 releases are Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and Lootcase.
