Bala Murugan popularly known as Gana Bala is an actor, playback singer and a lyricist in the South Indian film industry. He started as a playback singer with songs like Pathinoru Peru Aattam and Unnaipola Pennai in the movie Piragu. Gana rose to fame with his debut songs Aadi Pona Aavani and Nadukadalula Kappala which were from the soundtrack of Attakathi. He has revived the Gaana genre in Tamil Nadu after Thenisai Thendral Deva .He last starred in the film Nainayatha Mazhaiye (2016) and will next be a part of Adida Melam, which is slated to release in March, 2016.
