Garrett Basch is an American producer. While in college itself, he started out as an assistant to the director Steven Zaillian. Together, the duo has worked on films like Moneyball (2011) and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (2011). The pair also formed Film Rites, a film production company. Basch is best known for producing the HBO series The Night Of (2016), which won an Emmy for Outstanding Limited Series. He even won the Producers Guild of America Award in 2015 for producing the documentary Life Itself. His 2019 releases as an executive producer include The Current War. His other notable works include Red Sparrow (2018), Those Who Wish Me Dead (2021) and Deep Water (2022).
