Gary Leslie Whitta is an English-born American screenwriter, game designer, author and video game journalist. A former editor-in-chief of both the UK and American editions of PC Gamer magazine, Whitta has written screenplay several for films and TV series’ including The Book of Eli (2010), After Earth (2013) and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016).
