Gashmeer Mahajani is an Indian actor and play director, who works in the Marathi and Hindi film industries. He is the son of veteran Marathi superstar, Ravindra Mahajani. Gashmeer made his debut with the Hindi film, Muskurake Dekh Zara (2010). The movie was critically trashed and commercially unsuccessful. Gashmeer took a break from acting and joined Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai. In the next four years he acted in various plays and also directed a few of them. In 2015 Gashmeer made his Marathi acting debut opposite Kashmira Kulkarni in Sanjay Londhe`s Carry On Maratha. Gashmeer`s father guest starred in the movie. The film was appreciated by the critics and set the cash registers at the box office ringing. Gashmeer`s other movies include Deool Band (2015), Kanha (2016) and Dongri Ka Raja (2016). In 2017 he starred in director Sameer Vidwans` Mala Kahich Problem Nahi. The cast also includes Spruha Joshi, Kamlesh Sawant, Seema Deshmukh and Satish Alekar. His 2019 release includes Panipat.
