Gaurav Chakrabarty is an Indian Bengali film and TV actor who is best known for playing the roles of Prodipto Lahiri in the Bengali TV series, Gaaner Oparey, and detective Byomkesh Bakshi in the TV series, Byomkesh. The actor has also worked in several popular films including, Rang Milanti (2011), Laptop (2012), Rupkatha Noy (2013), Highway (2014), Aur Panchali (2014), Eagoler Chokh (2016), Gangster (2016), Colkatay Columbus (2016), Asche Abar Shabor (2018), Bhootchakro Private Limited (2019) and Parineeta (2019). His 2020 release includes Dwitiyo Purush.
