Geetha is an Indian actress who majorly works in the South Indian film industry, across Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and also Hindi films. She made her acting debut with Bairavi in the role of Rajinikanth's sister, under the direction of veteran director M Baskar. Her most notable work can be seen in movies like Devara Aata, Eradu Rekhegalu, Hennina Sowbhagya, Salala Mobiles, Aadhaaram, Oru Vadakkan Veeragadha, Shruthi Seridaaga, Aruna Raaga, Thalapathi, and Kondaveeti Simham. She bagged the Filmfare Award for Best Actress - Kannada for Shruthi Seridaaga, Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Malayalam for Aadhaaram, and Cinema Express Award for Best Actress – Malayalam for Vaishalii. Her 2017 projects include the multilingual action film Nindru Kolvaan, under the direction of V. P. Shankar, and also the drama film Halli Panchayathi, under the direction of G Umesh.
